 If you prefer a longer, more relaxed travel experience, BC Ferries sails the popular 'Discovery Coast Passage' route between Port Hardy (North tip of Vancouver Island) and Bella Coola. The ferry transports vehicles of every size and length. The summer schedule offers 3 sailings per week on 2 connecting ferries with stops and opportunities to explore the small and remote communities of Ocean Falls, Shearwater and Bella Bella. Bella Bella is the connecting port of the 2 ferries to travel the famous Inside Passage either to/from Port Hardy (south) or to/from Prince Rupert (north).
